Terms and Conditions


Bookings & Payment

You can secure your place on your chosen Pause & Reset Retreat by completing the online booking form and paying the non-refundable deposit of £300.  We will send you a booking confirmation email usually within 24hours and will hold your space until full payment is made by the due date.  All bookings are processed in order in which they are submitted.

All final retreat payments are  due 6 weeks prior to the start date of the retreat.  We will send out a reminder of the dates and invoice for the remaining payment details which can be paid by BACS transfer or Paypal.  Upon confirmation of this you will receive joining instructions for your Pause & Reset Retreat.


Late Bookings

If you are booking your retreat within 6 weeks of the start date of the retreat, payment in full is needed at time of booking. Please book via the website or Email Pause & Reset to arrange payment.


Cancellation/Refunds

If you cancel more than 8 weeks prior to the start date of your retreat we will retain the deposit.  Should you have to cancel less than 8 weeks before the start date of your chosen retreat, the FULL price is payable.  We will endeavour to re-fill the place, in which case you will get a refund minus the deposit.

  • All cancellations must be received in writing
  • Any promotional inclusions (such as sessions, products and services offered in the package) will be deducted from any refund if applicable.

Cancellation by Pause & Reset

In the event the retreat has to be cancelled or closed for any reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and will hold all funds paid as a credit to be redeemed against a future retreat booking with us within 12 months of the retreat closure.  Pause & Reset will not pay for any loss regarding flights or other costs associated with travel to the retreat that may be lost as a result of the retreat closing.  Only one alternative date will be offered, once this is booked standard terms and conditions apply. 


Changes to Booking

If you would like to amend your retreat booking dates more than 59 days prior to the start of your retreat to another date, this is possible however this will incur a £50 administration fee per booking plus any difference in rate of the booking if applicable. If you are looking to change retreats less than 60 days before the star date of your booked retreat the above cancellation policy will apply. 


Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that upon booking a retreat guests take adequate holiday and personal travel insurance to cover themselves in the case of any eventuality.  Exceptions cannot be made for any reason including weather, injury/illness or personal emergencies.  No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete your chosen retreat or for arriving late/leaving early.  You may want to consider trip cancellation cover as part of your policy to cover your trip fees in the event of travel disruption, illness or injury before arrival.  Travel insurance is also recommended in the event you injure yourself whilst on one of our retreats.


Travel (Flights, Trains or Hire Cars)

All travel arrangements to and from the retreats must be booked independantely and are not included in the retreat cost. Pause & Reset can advise of the transport option that would suit you best.


Guest Safety

Whilst on a Pause & Reset retreat there will be opportunities and sessions that you are invited to participate in for example walking and yoga.  In light of this we ask all guests to fill in a guest waiver and release of liability.  You participate in the programme of activities at your own risk.  


Damages & Losses

In all of our rooms you will find a bathrobe for use during your stay, if this is no longer in your room after you depart from the retreat we will automatically charge you for the retail price of the robe/s.

If you damage your room or any of the property within your room the cost of repairing / replacing / redecorating you will automatically be invoiced.  Hair dye, bleach or tanning products must not be used under any circumstances and any colouring found on Tiling, Carpets, Linens or any other fittings will be charged for.  Any spillages that result in staining on carpets, bedding or furnishings will be charged for.  Where possible, Pause & Reset will attempt to get the staining removed, however if this is deemed impossible by our cleaning contractors, the guest will be liable for the costs incurred by  Pause & Reset in replacing the item like for like.  Breakages, Damage, Spillages/Stains discovered after check out will be notified in writing and charged to the guest. 

Any guest found to be smoking in the accommodation, will be liable in terms with current legislation to pay a £200.00 fine, and will be asked to leave with no refund given.  On top of this, a charge of £100.00 will be incurred for the cost of deep cleaning the area where the guest was smoking.  If a guest is found to have been smoking in any bedroom the guest will also be charged £100.00 per day for any time that the bedroom is unable to be used.

Inappropriate Behaviour and Conduct

Any guest found to be:

  • Smoking anywhere within the building (please also read Breakages, Damages and Spillage) 
  • Taking or smoking illegal substances 
  • Actively ignoring safety/health guidelines 
  • Abusing or Misusing of any property of Pause & Reset or that of the retreat locations

Will be asked to leave with immediate effect, and no refund on package costs will be offered and all booked additional treatments/bundles will still be charged.  


Comments and Complaints

If you feel unwell or are not happy with the retreat for any reason, please inform your Retreat Manager immediately and we will endeavour to take whatever action is required.  Please bear in mind that any claims may be rejected if we are not given the opportunity to put matters right during your stay.


Arrival/Departure

If a guest chooses to arrive late or leave before the end of the retreat, Pause & Reset will not refund any unused nights’ accommodation.


Agreement to Terms & Conditions

By submitting the booking form you are agreeing to having read, understood and agree to the above Terms & Conditions and submit the Guest Waiver which is to be signed and returned to us as soon as convenient.
