Dealing with loss can have a profound effect on your overall wellness and wellbeing. When life gets in the way of allowing us to focus on self-care at this difficult time, it is no surprise that our mental, physical and spiritual states are vulnerable.
We believe that grief shouldn't be a solitary journey and are dedicated to supporting individuals to pause, focus on self-care and wellbeing when it is most needed by offering a new way to companion the bereaved.
Luxury self-care retreats for individuals who have lost a loved one allowing you to focus on your wellbeing. Giving a compassionate and safe space to those who have lost a parent, partner, spouse or friend and need time to focus and take breath. Grief Retreats run by bereaved for the bereaved.
Perfect for some focused 1:1 sessions on wellness or overall wellbeing as a bereaved person. Whether you have lost motivation or feeling overwhelmed, or perhaps you could be feeling unbalanced in your relationships or struggling to sleep, let Pause & Reset work in partnership with you to take control of positively changing your wellbeing during bereavement.
Helping businesses and third sector organisations to implement and integrate Wellbeing Programmes as part of their employee or volunteer support offerings. Programmes for hybrid workers, volunteers, in-house groups or senior management teams. Consulting on company policies for Bereavement and Employee Wellbeing.
In order to function at our best, we need to ensure that our wellness and wellbeing are top priorities. Grief can affect our mental, physical and spiritual state and whilst our tanks are not full and life gets in the way, our wellbeing is often last in a long list of competing priorities. Pause & Reset creates and facilitates opportunities to focus on your wellbeing through your grief.
As each person is individual so is a persons journey through grief. Bereavement is multifaceted, but one common theme is that of isolation and lonlieness regardless of the family or friends around you. Grief can last as long as love, which is a great way of saying there are no time limitations for how a person feels. We are here to journey with you.
Have you ever walked into a crowd and there is a silence, like your grief is the white elephant in the room. Western society shies away from speaking of such taboo topics. We value transparency and educating through honest accounts surrounding grief and bereavement including all that brings with it from tears to laughter to the memories and keeping our person alive by talking about them.
We are on a mission to build positive support communities and networks for those affected by the loss of a loved one. Bereavement and dealing with the loss of a loved one is an area of life we are mostly unprepared for. We believe in strength in numbers and that grief journeys aren't meant to be solitary. Pause & Reset are creating Grief Community.
We value being able to provide individuals and organisations with the support and wellness experiences they need, when they need them. We don't prescribe to a lengthy referral systems or waiting lists to join support groups based on postcodes. We are run by bereaved for bereaved and recognise the need for wellness support during grief based on the individuals not procedures.
We are committed to providing positive wellbeing experiences that allow grieving individuals to take time for self-care. From the venues we use to our creative and yoga partners, all our suppliers are vetted and have similar and aligned values to Pause & Rest to ensure we can provide a personable, compassionate and quality experience with attention to detail.
